Setup Work Item Type Schemes
In Zymmr, as administrator, you can manage work items (issues) efficiently by creating and configuring work item type schemes. This allows you to group work-item types and streamline processes across multiple projects. Below is an example of how you can set up a work item type scheme in Zymmr:
Create an Issue Type Scheme:
- Navigate to the Administration section in Zymmr.
- Find and select the "Work Item Type Schemes" option.
- Create a new scheme named "Software Project Types" or a relevant title.
Define Work Item Types:
- Add the necessary issue types for your software project. In this example, include:
- Bug
- Feature

Configure the Work Item Type Scheme:
- Associate the created issue types with the scheme.
- Bug -> Bug
- Feature -> Feature
Set Default Issue Type:
- Choose a default issue type for your scheme. For instance, set "Bug" as the default type.
Apply the Scheme to Projects:
- Once configured, apply the "Software Project Types" scheme to relevant software projects.
- This ensures that these projects share a standardized set of issue types.
By implementing this work item type scheme, your team can easily select appropriate issue types when creating new items. It also ensures consistency across projects, making it more straightforward to manage and maintain your projects within Zymmr.
